Accommodation details are within the registration pages. Most of the accommodation is within walking distance of the Assembly Rooms however, where accommodation is more than a 20 minute walk away a transfer will be provided. All hotel accommodation is heavily subsidised by the symposium sponsors.

Airport information and travel to Bath

Getting to the venue

Bristol International Airport is 21 miles/33 Km from Bath Spa.

Bath Spa is a 40 minutes transfer by taxi from Bristol.

Trains leave every 15 minutes from Bristol International Airport to Bath Spa from 06.15 to 22:00 hrs see The Train Line.

London Heathrow Airport is 100 miles/160 Km from Bath Spa.

Bath Spa is a 1 hour 45 minutes transfer by taxi from London Heathrow.

Travel on to Bath by train (first part of the journey to Reading is by coach), will take approximately 2 hours. Trains leave every 30 minutes or hourly see The Train Line.

It is possible to transfer from London Heathrow to Bath by coach. Journey time is 2.5-3 hours, with services every 2 hours and the cost is low. Please see here International Travellers to Bath.

Bath Spa station is 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Bath is on the main rail link from London Paddington to Bristol. Trains leave every 30 minutes or hourly depending on the time of day. Estimated journey time is 90 minutes. Trains also run from London Waterloo but the journey time is longer and there are fewer services each day.

Please bring walking shoes as access around the city of Bath is often easier on foot.
